why the journal forge?

When we initially got into bullet journals and similar ways of writing our thoughts down, most of the tools and products for journaling seemed a bit too fancy for us. We wanted the same tools, but instead of scrollwork and things like that we’d like to see mountain silhouettes, tire tracks, and video game icons. Things that appeal to both our punk, nerdy, and outdoorsy sides. So why not make some of these things for ourselves? Then why not give others the chance to get them too? And The Journal Forge was the creation out of that thought process.
