Our drive
Indiana Jones’ grail diary, Nathan Drake’s notebook, Lara Croft’s maps and charts, images of adventurers and heroes poring over ancient texts and mysteries. These are the things that excite us and make us wonder what those pages contain. We want to carry that feeling into our own writing, trying to find our own adventure and create our own legends, big or small. Following that our creations lean toward waxed canvas, leather, and black metal. The meaning of the object is created from its use over time and we want to create tools that last through the creation.

We make tools for journaling. Anything that makes the process easier and more streamlined so we can get down to the good stuff, putting our thoughts and ideas on paper. We love a utilitarian aesthetic. We love the outdoors and quiet time to reflect and process. The tools we make prioritize simplicity and getting the job done.
